Arlington County, Virginia no longer allows businesses to file business tax returns via email or regular mail.
In October 2022, the Arlington Commissioner of Revenue’s Office mailed postcards informing business owners that they will not receive Business License Tax, Business Tangible Personal Property Tax, or Custodial Tax forms by mail in 2023.
The Commissioner of Revenue’s office now requires business owners to file through the Customer Assessment and Payment Portal (CAPP).
Businesses must sign up for the portal no later than December 31, 2022, to receive courtesy reminders about 2023 filing deadlines.
For help with online filings, contact the Commission of Revenue’s Business Tax team at 703-228-3060, or visit in person at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Suite 200
Arlington, VA 22201.
