Haunted House Opens on Friday the 29th at the Madison Community Center!
Are you superstitious? Afraid of the dark? Do you enjoy a good haunted story? Then come out and enjoy a ghostly tale, Halloween treats, ghoulish games and of course – a frightening good time at the YMCA of Arlington Haunted House fundraiser! The YMCA Arlington Haunted House opens this Friday at the Madison Community Center at 3829 North Stafford Street, Arlington.
Friday night is recommended for ages five and up and Saturday night for ages 11 and up. Admission is $5 for individuals, $15 for a family of four and $20 for a family of five. All money raised goes to benefit the Washington DC YMCA and its community programs.
Want to be on the other end of the scaring? The DC YMCA still needs volunteers for the following
* Authentic Civil War army uniforms. Either as volunteer zombies or a three-day loan of the uniforms for the Hunted House.
* Sound effects people to cue sound effects during the Haunted House
* Colored lights, spot lights, strobes, black lights, dry ice machines, cobwebs and general clutter. As we hope to populate the hallways with generic spooky things, we also need basic scary stuff: witches hats, Halloween masks and capes.
* Volunteers!
